Middle Rock (Bishan Park II)

A follow up to the post on Canopy cafe, Middle Rock is from the same management team and is located just next to Canopy.

First up is the Caesar Salad. This is decent but in comparison to Canopy, the lettuce are less fresh and the seasoning are not as well done.

Mushroom Soup

Cheese Fries. They were Fantastic. The cheese, bacon, spring onion.. great!

Buffalo Wings. We ordered the lowest level just in case it is too sour. But it turned out to be very sour even when it's only the first level. I can't imagine what's it like at the 3rd level

Aglio Olio is decent but it may be a tad dry and the spaghetti was rather tough. I had a hard time chewing on them.

Ribs. This is delicious. The meat was tender and the sauce was savory, not too strong that will overpower everything.

Eggplant dish. I'm not a fan of eggplant but my my mum did say this was rather tasty and it was a interesting way to have eggplants cooked this way. Do give it a try.

All in all I would recommend this place for its ambiance. They have couch seats outdoors just beside the park's running track so it's rather peaceful. It is also good for parties or get-togethers. However, I personally prefer Canopy for the fresher ingredients, but do drop by to try this yourself!
