Casa Verde

Another little intro of me. I have a pet toy poodle and there aren't many cafes that I can think of which allow pets. But after our stroll in Botanic Gardens, we found Casa Verde that allow pets in the outdoor area!

DINNER MENU

I ordered the simple yet popular Aglio Olio Pasta. I wasn't expecting much from this dish that is available in almost every restaurant. But I was surprised with the high standards. The Spiciness is at the correct level and sprinkled with the correct amount of garlic and herbs. It isn't oily at all.

Hawaiian Pizza. We are playing safe that night by ordering the typical dishes. The pizza was superb. You know how some pizza is overflowed with ingredients and spammed with cheese cheese and just cheese? Well, this one has got everything right. Perfect combination. While I went to the restroom, I passed by the pizza kitchen and took a glimpse of how they made the pizzas. No wonder, they taste so good.
This was one of the Specials that night. It should be some spinach and sausage cream pasta xD The service was excellent and they successfully convinced my mum to try their special pasta. Sausages were very juicy. Spinach goes well with the pasta. Wonderful. You might think that this looks really filling, but no, it doesn't. Most creamy pasta makes you full when you are only half way through. No worries, this doesn't at all.
My brother ordered lamb shank. I do not really enjoy the smell of lamb so I skipped this. My brother said it has the really rich lamb taste. I don't really know what that means, but looking from how he cleaned the plate, I think it's another tasty dish worth trying!

Lasagne. Really delicious, not filling at all and the beef is cooked to the right degree, not too tough at all. A simple yet tasty dish.

After Dinner, we took a glance at the brunch menu and we knew instantly, we should come here the next morning for another feast.

BREAKFAST
Potato Wedges. Be careful, maybe slightly hard for some who have just tightened their braces.
Teriyaki chicken burger. My brother ordered this and he finished it in no time. I guess its yet another must try dish!

I'm a fan of big breakfast sets and this is very yummy. The serving size is huge (which is good) Though the scrambled eggs may be a bit bland, the harsh brown, mushrooms , sausage, toast all made up for it. Be careful of the bacon though, it may be kinda hard so braces people, brace yourself! xD

Another cafe I will patronize when I walk my dog in Botanics. Great food and they do not have service charge. One thing though, it can be quite difficult to find seats on weekend brunch times so do come early to grab a seat!

If you are traveling via public transport, you may need to walk a bit through Botanical Gardens after entering the gate near the Botanical Gardens Circle Line Station. Alternatively, you make enter by the Tanglin gate.
