The Reading Room

Another one of the book cafes in Singapore worth visiting -- The Reading Room. It's located along Bukit Pasoh Road, around the area which houses several yummy cafes (which I will visit very soon)

My friends and I ordered the Panini with Ham and cheese set (~$13)  It was average. The bread was rather tough so I took a really long time to eat it because I had to slice it into small pieces. Do not try eating hard stuff while having braces. I ate fried chicken once and the wire came out at the back bracket, I had to go to the Dentist next day to fix the painful poking wire:( I'll probably order something softer for my next visit.

Mochaccino. Nicely blended, a cool drink just right for the hot weather here.

Extremely cosy place with loads of books to indulge in. Perfect place for book lovers. They have board and card games too! Wonderful place to read and also have fun with your friends. Maybe slightly pricey given that the serving size is relatively small and the food is just average. But I think you are paying for the ambiance and the books.
